To join Pirate Fight, you submit a picture of yourself dressed as a pirate. For the duel, your picture will be placed next to another randomly selected pirate wannabe. Then the nameless horde of Internet users will choose how you fare. They may choose you and you'll win that duel, or they may choose your opponent. Whoever wins the most duels becomes the Pirate of the Month! (or something like that) "Why should I subject myself to such humiliation?" you might ask. Honestly, I don't know, but I'll be the first scallywag to join.

Enter your pirate name, which will show up with your picture during a duel. Choose the gender that most closely matches yourself. Choose a picture of yourself dressed as a pirate. Try not to send pictures larger than a couple of megabytes. Enter an email address, if you want to be notified if you win. Finally, click "Finish". If you included a large picture or you are on a slow connection, you may have to wait awhile as the picture is sent in.

If it is not a picture of someone dressed as a pirate, don't bother. I'll just throw it away. If it is another picture from Photo Booth or another picture of Johnny Depp as Cap'n Jack Sparrow, I'll throw it away while cursin' yer name.
